Path2Adviser is an online revision platform providing mock examinations for CII financial adviser qualifications (R01–R05). References to "we", "us" or "our" in this policy refer to Path2Adviser.

What data we collect
When you use Path2Adviser we may collect the following:
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Email address — provided when you subscribe, used to manage your account and send service-related emails.
- Usage data — pages visited, time spent, exam scores. Used to improve the platform.
- Technical data — browser type, device, IP address, collected automatically via standard server logs.
How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Process your subscription and provide access to exam content
- Send you receipts and account-related emails
- Improve and maintain the platform
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Stripe payments
All payments are handled by Stripe. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. Path2Adviser does not store your payment card information. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to data you provide during checkout.
Cookies
Path2Adviser uses minimal cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your exam progress is stored locally in your browser session only and is not transmitted to our servers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to how we use your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 12 months after cancellation, unless you request earlier deletion.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
